I recently experimented with turning a simple product photo into a cinematic perfume-style ad using AI tools.
In this post, I’ll walk you through the steps, show you the results, and share the exact prompts I used, so you can try it out for yourself too.

Step 1: The product photo

It all started with a basic product image.
This was the foundation, the hero object that needed to feel luxurious and cinematic.

Step 2: Creating the model

Since the brand needed a luxury look, I first generated a model to complement the product.
The vibe: sleek, modern, mid-twenties, Dubai-inspired aesthetic.

I used NanoBanana for this step, which gave me a photorealistic model that matched the brand’s identity perfectly.

Prompt used:

Ultra-realistic cinematic portrait of a stylish Middle Eastern woman in her mid-twenties, Dubai-inspired fashion and makeup, exuding elegance and sophistication. Photorealistic lighting, luxury editorial aesthetic, premium photography quality. Perfect as a luxury brand ambassador for Almolook

Step 3: Combining product + model

Once I had both elements, the next step was bringing them together, the model holding the product like it was part of a high-end campaign.

This was also done using NanoBanana, which allowed me to seamlessly merge the product image with the model in a natural, photorealistic way.

Prompt used:

Combine the provided product image with the previously generated model. Create a photorealistic luxury advertisement image where the model is holding the product naturally, as if part of a premium brand campaign for Almolook. Cinematic lighting, editorial style, Dubai luxury vibes

Step 4: Exploring variations

Before finalizing the shot, I experimented with different poses and expressions.
This helped me imagine how the product could be advertised in real life.

Examples of prompts I used:

  • Model looking directly into the camera while holding the product in her right hand

  • Model looking sideways with a subtle smile, product in left hand

  • Model holding the product with both hands, close to the face

  • Model glancing down at the product as if admiring it

Step 5: From image to video (cinematic ad)

This is where things really came to life.
Using Veo 3, I transformed the static image into a cinematic perfume-style video ad with subtle, natural movements.

Prompt used:

Using the provided combined image of the model holding the product, generate a cinematic video advertisement. Subtle and realistic movements: the model gently shifting her gaze, slightly adjusting the product in her hand, soft light flares. Luxury editorial vibe, smooth camera pans, premium perfume-ad inspired style

Final thoughts

This whole process showed me how far AI tools can take us, from a plain product photo to a cinematic video ad that feels straight out of a luxury campaign.

The best part? With the right prompts and a little creative direction, this workflow can be repeated for any product, not just perfumes.

Think of it as a playbook:

  1. Start with your product image

  2. Create a model or brand ambassador that fits your aesthetic

  3. Combine them into realistic ad shots

  4. Explore variations

  5. Bring it alive with subtle cinematic video
